Dr.
Free joined Medical X-Ray Center in 1990. He is a diagnostic radiologist
specializing in Neuroradiology.
He received his undergraduate degree from Yale University at New Haven, CT, and his osteopathic degree from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, IA. He completed a transitional internship at Oakland General Hospital in Dequindre Madison Heights, MI, completed a radiology residency at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, OH, and a fellowship in Neuroradiology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI.
He is certified in general radiology and Neuroradiology by the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Neuroradiology, and is a member of the American Society of Neuroradiology, the American Osteopathic Association, the Radiological Society of North America, the American Osteopathic College of Radiology, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the American College of Radiology, the Society of Magnetic Resonance in Imaging, the American Society of Head and Neck Radiology, the South Dakota Medical Association, and the Seventh District Medical Society.
Dr. Free and his wife, Nancy, who is a pediatrician practicing in Sioux Falls, have five daughters and one son.
