Dr. Casey is an Interventional Radiologist. His professional interests include endovenous laser ablation for treatment of varicose veins, uterine fibroid embolization, varicocele embolization, cryoablation of renal tumors, radiofrequency ablation of liver/lung tumors and painful bone metastasis, and chemoembolization of liver tumors.
Dr. Casey received his Bachelor's degree from Iowa State University in Ames, IA and his medical degree from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, IA. He continued his medical training in Chicago, IL, where he completed a Surgical internship at Saint Joseph’s Hospital and a Diagnostic Radiology residency at Loyola University Medical Center. He then went on to complete a Vascular and Interventional Radiology fellowship at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, Washington University in Saint Louis, MO.
Dr. Casey is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology. He acquired his Certificate of Added Qualifications in Vascular and Interventional Radiology from the American Board of Radiology in 2007. He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the Society of Interventional Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, the American College of Radiology and the South Dakota Medical Association.
Outside of work, Dr. Casey enjoys spending time with his family, bicycling, hiking, snowboarding, and skiing. Dr. Casey and his wife, Dr. Kristina Casey, have three children.
